Oracle Wallet Manager SSL Installation

It only takes minutes to install SSL Certificate on Oracle Waller Manage, you’ll just want to perform following steps.

Prior to installing the SSL Certificate, you’ll first need to install the Root & Intermediate Certificate. Once installed, you’ll be good to install the SSL Certificate.

Steps to Install SSL on Oracle Wallet Manager

Step 1: Download & Extract Certificate files

Once you complete validation, the certificate authority will provide you the SSL Certificate either via email or via download link. Open your email and download the certificate file sent by the certificate authority. Now Extract the file in your server directory or on your hard disk where you wish to store your SSL certificate files.

Step 2: Install Root & Intermediate Certificate files

  1. Open your Oracle Wallet Manager GUI
  2. From Operation menu click on Import Trusted Certificate
  3. Once here, you’ll want to click on Select a file that contains the certificate
  4. Browse for the Root Certificate file that you have stored on your server or hard disk and then press OK
  5. You’ll want to repeat the same actions for the Intermediate Certificate and press OK

Your Root and Intermediate Certificate files are now installed. Now you’ll proceed with install the SSL Certificate.

Step 3: Install Root & Intermediate Certificate files

  1. Open your Oracle Wallet Manager GUI
  2. From Operation menu click on Import User Certificate
  3. Now here click on Select a file that contains the certificate
  4. Browse for the User (SSL) Certificate file then press OK
  5. Once you install the User Certificate file on Oracle Wallet Manager, you will find the certificate node is changed from Certificate:[Requested] to Certificate:[Ready] state in the navigation pane.
  6. Now save your Oracle Wallet.
