Mac OS X Server\u00a0SSL Installation Steps<\/h2>\n

Step: 1<\/h3>\n

When your SSL Certificate order received via email, store the yourdomainname.zip<\/strong> file in your server, and extract these two files \u201cyourdomianname.crt<\/strong>\u201d & \u201ccertificateauthority.crt<\/strong>\u201d on a same folder.<\/p>\n

Step: 2<\/h3>\n

Next step is to double click on certificateauthority.crt<\/strong> file and choose to import<\/strong> option from Add Certificate<\/strong> window. In Keychain<\/strong>, Select System<\/strong> option from drop-down menu and click on Add button.<\/p>\n

Note: <\/strong>For further installation process, you need to log in with administration\u2019s password.<\/p>\n

Step: 3<\/h3>\n

Now open Mac OS X Server Admin<\/strong> and click on Certificates<\/strong> from the menu. Click on Setting Gear icon and in drop down menu select \u201cAdd Signed or Renewed Certificate from Certificate Authority\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step: 4<\/h3>\n

Once you select that option, it will display the information of existing or new certificate. When you select \u201cAdd Signed or Renewed Certificate from Certificate Authority<\/strong>\u201d option, just Drag \u201cyourdomainname.crt<\/strong>\u201d file into pop-up window.<\/p>\n

Step: 5<\/h3>\n

Once you finish the drag and drop process, click on \u201cOK<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n

Allocate SSL Certificate for Services<\/h3>\n

For Mail Services:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Click on Mail<\/strong> option which is available at left window panel.<\/li>\n
  2. Open Setting<\/strong> option and select Security<\/strong> option under Advanced<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Now, allocate installed SSL certificate to IMAP or SMTP Services.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    For Web Services:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. First, open Web<\/strong> and select Sites<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Select website<\/strong> which you wish to secure with a certificate<\/li>\n
    3. Tick the Checkbox to Enable Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)<\/strong> under Security<\/strong> Tab Option & select the certificate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. Alert Dialog appears \u201cDo you want to restart Web now?<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n
    5. Click on Restart<\/strong> & Restart your web server<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Now Your SSL Certificate has successfully installed on Mac OS X Server.<\/p>\n
