Mozilla Firefox<\/strong> has always focused on having a safe and secure Web browsing experience.\u00a0 Since the launch of the Firefox browser in 2004, they have added new security alerts and warnings to help protect the end users. Mozilla has also added quick software patches to address new vulnerability issues.<\/p>\n

An SSL (Secure Socket Layer)<\/strong> Certificate, is used to secure communications between a browser and a server. Millions of websites have now adopted SSL to secure server to client communication. Because SSL protocol is constantly updating Mozilla has changed the SSL flags and warnings to better assist the user.<\/p>\n

Over the past few weeks, Mozilla has been improving the user experience of our privacy and security features in Firefox. One specific initiative has focused on the feedback shown in our address bar around a site\u2019s security. The major changes are highlighted below along with the rationale behind each change.<\/p>\n

Mozilla Firefox 44 – New SSL Error Symbols<\/h2>\n

Recently Mozilla announced, Firefox 44<\/strong> version will display new SSL error message as \u201cYour Connection is not Secure\u201d.<\/p>\n

As per the above image, SSL error message is displayed along with the Advanced<\/strong> button. After clicking on the advanced Firefox will expand the error cause and also opens the option for user whether to access the website or.<\/p>\n

This changes in Firefox will lets users to by-pass the weak warning message and directly accessing the website.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> Untrusted connection may hurt user\u2019s data and personal information as well, we recommend not to access the untrusted connection.<\/em><\/p>\n
